Abstract

I introduce a method for evaluating the performance of public grid with PV penetration, which is located in Kyushu.

The core of the implementation is a representation of RLDC (residual load duration curves), which change

endogenously depending on the share and mix of VRE. The approach captures major VRE integration challenges

and the energy system's response to growing VRE shares without a considerable increase of numerical complexity.

So it has vital significant in developing renewable energy. Among them, photovoltaic is a kind of new energy, the

prospective of PV is very important. It is very important to control the amount of PV input in a region. It is the focus

of my research to calculate the maximum amount of PV that can be generated in a region. As a result, by using SLC

(Solar load control based capacity) option to accurately and appropriately evaluating photovoltaic capacity. Then,

on the base of the first step, through RLDC (Residual load duration curve) to analyzing whether the usage of variable

renewable energy will be overwhelming to generating electricity or not.
