The potential model is an important method in the research of spatial accessibility of public service facilities. It has been widely used in the research of public service facilities layout, and it has developed many forms of expansion. One of the most used improvements is the combination of facility size, population size, and supply and demand. On the basis of this, this paper improves this model by considering the influence of different critical ranges on spatial accessibility, introduces the search radius factor, and selects the old-age facilities for case calculation and analysis. The results show that the improved potential model can more reasonably evaluate the spatial accessibility of the aged care service facilities, accurately reveal the residents' actual access to the aged care service resources, effectively determine the lack of areas, and provide the basis for the next step.
