Reservoir refers to a pond or lake that is artificially created so that water can be stored and collected to secure
agricultural water in areas with low rainfall and no rivers with large watersheds. Recently, researches are being
actively conducted to utilize the unmanned aerial vehicle system (UAVS) for the maintenance and management of
facilities, such as acquiring and monitoring various spatial information, and building a database. There is a
shortage of manpower for local government officials who manage reservoirs. Considering its expertise and
expertise, if the DB construction of the disaster risk reservoir can be carried out using the unmanned aerial vehicle
system, it is considered highly useful in terms of efficiency. In this study, we consider the method of generating
terrain model and verifying accuracy of reservoir using UAVS that is excellent in repetitive acquisition and
economic feasibility of high-resolution image. This study is expected to contribute to providing necessary element
technologies for solving the problems such as lack of manpower of local government officials and restructuring
the database, which is expected to rebuild the reservoir management DB of the national disaster management
information system.
