At present, with the rapid development of urban renewal blocks with historical and cultural values are facing new problems of survival and development. The author takes the daily life space of Simao Old Street as the research object. In the following essay, the author mainly analyzes the utilization pattern of living space from the perspective of the historical space and current situation of the old street and elaborates the point of view from an urban perspective. This paper is about the discussion of the spatial alienation of daily life and adjacent segmentation in Simao traditional blocks in the process of urban development. Based on the condition that the daily living space maintenance on the material level and the theory of “organic renewal”, the transformation strategy that the traditional street is taken as the core should be implemented.
