Abstract

The community entrance is the first barrier to cope with COVID-19 epidemic prevention and community security in China. Its micro space directly affects the first impression of community residents when they enter the community, and it is crucial to construct the mental health of residents under the epidemic situation. From the perspective of the micro space perception, this study selects community entrances of four different cities in China as survey samples, and applies SD method and factor analysis method to conduct quantitative evaluation and perception factor analysis on the micro space of community entrance. The results show that the residents' micro space perception assessment is generally on the positive side, and the evaluation can be carried out from four perception factors of atmosphere, appearance, impression and recognition. Among them, atmosphere perception factor is the primary factor affecting residents' micro space perception, and spatial density is the most concerned by residents. The results can provide a quantitative reference for promoting the creation of healthy community in China.
