By the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred last year, we found a number of issues related to the Life Continuity Plan and the safety and security, when ultra-high-rise apartment building were affected. Residents feel anxiety even though the building structures is safe, because of the sway lasts longer due to long-period earthquake ground motion, elevators become unusable, lack of emergency stores and communication. We propose the system which contributes to Life Continuity Plan by installing monitor-panels and various sensors in the building. If appropriate information is displayed on the screen when a disaster occurs, residents' anxiety will be reduced. In this study, we consider about contents on the screen and the appropriate placement of sensors. And we also reveals about effective disaster prevention manual using this system.
