Recentlv HEMS(Home Energy Management Sustem) is attracting attention as one of the energy-saving methads for residential homes. Our laboratory made a prototype of the system for an apartment in Adachi Ward in Tokyo which visualized energy, thermal environment and how to use its occupancy. The system went into operation from March 2008.In this report, secular analysis of the energy consumption for three years and a half, the usage situation at the time of power saving in the summer of 2011, and practical use of improvement in comfortability were conducted. As a result, the freguency of monitor's browsing is keeping a certain level and the system had more the energy-saving effect as residents browsed the monitor many times. Moreover, power consumption in the summer of 2011 was reduced compared with the same month in 2010. It is assumed to be due to this system. Meanwhile, since practical use of the system was insufficient for improvement in comforeability, so the necessity for having the practical use method grasped was also confirmed.
