JAUE2012-030: Development on Methods of heat environment simulation with 3DCAD

Abstract

Wide-used 3DCAD is used in a lot of situation, designing, presentation, construction management and so on. However, it is guessed to be used in more other situations. One of the situations is heat environment simulation. This studies' goal was to find how to adapt wide-used 3DCAD to heat environment simulation.
3DCAD has BIM. BIM is a function controls data of objects, materials and plans. In this study,"Quantity data" what is one of BIM function used to take data need for simulation.
The simulation software used in this study is called THERB. THERB simulates heat environment from ventilation, generating of heat in a room, constructing materials, air condition and so on.
