Along with the construction of new socialist countryside, gully regions of Loess Plateau, as one of the earliest human settlement areas and one of the most fragile ecological areas in China, are developing rapidly. As the smallest social units in the Loess Plateau, the villages own large amount of agricultural population. Based on the practical investigation of the villages in Changwu, Shaanxi, this thesis analyze the space distribution characteristics and the problems in development of the village in Loess Plateau, thus give reference and bases for the ecological and sustainable development of the villages in Loess Plateau
