Abstract

CFD is heavily used in all kinds of building fluid domain studies as one of the methods to solve fluid domain calculations, but steady-state simulations are used in most of the studies to investigate the problem. In this paper, Energyplus is used to calculate the effect of solar radiation changes on building wall temperatures in computational fluid dynamics simulations, as a boundary condition, and the simulation results are evaluated using indoor temperature as an indicator. The indoor temperature changes in the traditional houses in the Xichang area in successive cycles are investigated using the k-ε turbulence model, and the simulation results are further evaluated using the indoor temperature as an index, and the results of the simulation results on the case study of the building under unstable diurnal cycle in summer. The results show that the model can try to restore the internal changes of the building under the unstable diurnal cycle, and can dynamically simulate the thermal environment of the building, which provides a method for predicting the effect of the optimization plan for the renovation of the traditional houses in the Xichang area.
