Taking Shangyuanguan Town, Hanzhong City, southern Shaanxi Province as the scope of the investigation, it included an objective investigation of the morphology and spatial characteristics of the settlement streets and lanes, as well as a subjective investigation of the comfort of the outdoor street wind environment. Data from questionnaire surveys and actual wind environment measurements show that 62.5% of respondents are dissatisfied with the wind environment in the streets and alleys in the area. They believe that the deposition of pollutants is serious in winter, and the penetration of cold wind will cause the body temperature to drop; in summer, the probability of wind speed less than 1m/s at all measuring points is more than 80%. Combined with the questionnaire survey, they found that the wind speed in street spaces in summer is slow or even windless, and the human body feels stuffy. And the wind environment is poor. Through the investigation of the outdoor wind environment in streets and alleys, it was found that there are problems with the comfort of the wind environment in residential streets and alleys. Through the improvement of the problem, it will provide scientific basis and reference for the reconstruction of streets and lanes and the construction of new villages and towns. Green and sustainable development of villages and towns is of great practical significance.
