JAUE2018-087 The Study on the Versatility of a WBGT Estimation Equation in Street Space

Abstract

The purpose of our study is to evaluate the versatility of Ono’s WBGT estimation equation which uses only generally and widely measured meteorological indices. We found that Ono’s WBGT estimation equation did not take the influence of long wavelength radiation from the road surface into consideration. Therefore, we should correct this equation after sunset.
