The primary damage caused by the earthquake is serious, but damage caused by the fire which is one of the
secondary damage after the earthquake, can be confirmed in various earthquake damage cases. The secondary
damage caused by the fire can be more damaging to industrial complex using special combustibles and working
many people. In order to prevent such damage, seismic design of fire-fighting equipment must be performed. In
Korea, seismic design laws for fire-fighting equipment have been enforced since 2016, but the application rate and
perception of seismic design are insufficient soon after the law is enforced. Therefore, in this study, we conducted
a field survey and questionnaire survey on respondents in an industrial complex handling special combustible
materials
