In order to secure the evacuation occupants which are accommodated in the building in case of fire, it is important to shorten the evacuation time. In the case of a high-rise building, mostly in vertical evacuation, use stairs. Current Study of the crowd walking on the stairs of vertical evacuation routes is significantly deficient compared to horizontal way. Moreover, previous research analyzed the speed of the crowd walking depending on density rises to the upper walking through the stairs. However, in this study, different from previous research, adjusted the walking density by changing the starting type in stairs of vertical channel. In addition, this research analyzes the walking speed depending on changes of walking density by dividing 4cases. (Left, Right, Upward, Downward) In the case of a right descending, left ascending and right ascending, analysis of results showed a tendency to decrease slightly. The analysis showed an increasing period in the interim, but it showed that the overall reduction.
