Abstract
The multi-use facilitieswith complex maze structure have potential risk in evacuation situation. This risk is greater in the presence of a visible obstacle. Thus, an efficient evacuation pathdesignmustbe createdby analyzing pedestrian evacuation behavior in the presence of a visible obstacle. This paper configured the maze set and performed the experiment in the presence of normal and visible obstacle. We analyze the way-finding characteristic and directional loss in each condition. From this experiment, we provide basic data for efficient evacuation path designin evacuation situation.
