As concerns about climate change and carbon emissions increase, electric vehicles are becoming increasingly
popular. Consequently, the demand for electricity for charging electric vehicles at home will increase accordingly.
The electric load profile of apartments may be altered due to an unprecedented demand for electricity, leading to
problems such as grid unstability and increased uncertainty regarding electric load peak. Therefore, in this study,
the effect of the expansion of electric vehicles on the electric load profile in apartment houses was examined using
statistical data. In consequence, if electric vehicles constitute 30% of all vehicles, the apartment's electric load
consumption can increase by up to 108.36%, with an average increase of 40.32%.
