As a representative of the traditional cave-dwelling villages in northern Shaanxi, Nanniwan Taobaoyu has a long history with rich cultural deposits. But under the background of rapid urbanization, village is gradually being marginalized. With the development of modern industry, the original cave dwelling building has gradually become a symbol of poverty and backwardness, and has been abandoned by the people. Based on the cave-dwelling 's current condition as well as the trend of social development for rural regeneration, for the study of rural resources and the village's building environment, it aims at renovating idle houses for the recreation,
experience, tourism, old age care usage for B&B, agricultural food replacement, driven by tourism and provision for the senior citizens, stimulating the interval vigor, arousing the vitality of village development.
