Recently building is the trend of large, high-rise with the increase of the population. Accordingly, proper evacuation safety equipment and evacuation plan of the building that accommodate many people are very important. Especially, evacuees cannot find escape route in complex space such as a subway station and a multiplex due to unforeseen circumstances.
In this paper, we performed a study that the effects of emergency light. "Exposure" and "Exposure Coefficient" indicate an exposure measure of emergency light in limited space. They are calculated from a luminance measure of the subway platform. Exposure visualizes luminance value of the whole subway platform. In addition, regression analysis was performed to calculate an exposure coefficient. The results of this research are expected to contribute to implementation of studies on evacuation plan in the future, which is the visual recognition characteristic in limited spaces.
