Abstract

In order to ensure the safety in the building in disaster, it is important to be aware of the location and use of the
fire-fighting facilities. In particular, disaster preparedness in universities using various hazardous substances and
large facilities is very important. To ensure the safety of the university, Korea implements various regulations in
accordance with the "ACT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SAFE LABORATORY ENVIRONMENT".
However, this measure only applied to researchers working at the institute, and does not include the safety of
students at the university. However, because the institutes in universities are often located in the same building
that is used by university students. In order to ensure the safety of university students in the event of an accident,
it is important that students develop their ability to respond. Therefore, in this paper, the problem of safety
awareness of university students was solved through university student survey, and an efficient education
method was developed to improve safety awareness. As a result, it seems that it is not enough to improve the
safety consciousness of university students of safety education for university students. To improve this, it
would be most effective to invite safety lecturers once a year to give lectures.
