The conceptual model of biosignal learning based thermal control method for elder people is suggested. Many studies confirm that in principle elderly people do not perceive comfort differently from non-elders. However, the elderly people show the big deviation by the group and the in the aspect of the active level and metabolism in residential space and behavioral adjustment for the unpleasant status resolution. Moreover, the ability of the thermoregulation generally degreases with age. Thus the development for the proper comfort zone development technology targeting the elderly people is significant. This study aims to suggest the personal customized thermal control model considering physical and psychological characteristics. For this, the biosignal that is extracted from the occupant’s wearable device, Electrocardiogram (ECG), mean skin temperature (MST), ambient temperature and an artificial neural network technology was utilized.
