In this paper, a multi-spot sensing based PMV comfort control model is proposed to create a pleasant indoor
environment in a tenant office building with limited air conditioning system selection. The proposed model has
the following three characteristics. First, the limit of existing temperature control can be improved by using PMV
index as the control standard. Secondly, by using IoT sensors, PMV factors are measured at multiple points, and
the controller is able to coordinate the comfort of the entire occupant, not the air conditioning that is biased at a
particular location. Third, the controller uses IR as a way of giving control commands to the air conditioner.
Therefore, it can be applied to all the existing air conditioning systems in which the remote controller is present
without replacement of it. A prototype was built to identify the main mechanism of the model. The introduction
cost was $ 27, and the implementation of the core mechanism of the model was verified through real control
experiments.
