Abstract

In recent years, with the number of Chinese students studying at South Korea has risen, accounting for 46.9% of 
the total number of foreign students, ranking the first. With the safety accidents of international students, making 
the personal safety of overseas students become a hot issue. This paper carries out a questionnaire survey on Chinese 
international students at university about the perception of fire-fighting systems, hope to understand the fire safety 
awareness of international students in school and develop relevant effective safety education programs. The results 
show that most international students have insufficient awareness of fire-fighting equipment, insufficient fire safety 
awareness and insufficient ability to deal with emergencies. The year of use of the building has an impact on the 
awareness of fire-fighting equipment and the frequency of safety education had an impact on fire-fighting systems 
awareness.
