The slice room is a one of living space type of where poor household live. Usually, the slice room is a single room
where the room is not divided space by function, such as a living room and kitchen. Therefore, all the living activity,
such as relaxation and cooking, takes place in living space. Since there is no mechanical ventilation system, the air
quality management of slice room relies on natural ventilation. So, the residents in slice rooms are easy to exposed
to an inappropriate indoor environment. In this study, we evaluate summer bioaerosol exposure of slice room in
South Korea. Survey and Interview were performed to derive the ventilation behavior, space size, occupancy time,
the main living activity of slice room residents. Air sampling of 16 slice room was conducted through the Anderson
collision method. Fungi in the collected air sample were counted by the CFU method after incubation in MEA Agar.
The Bioaerosols exposure are analyzed with Indoor Bioaerosol Management Recommendation of world health
organization.
